The National Law School of India University (NLSIU) is undoubtedly the best law college not just in Bangalore but in all of India. However, at the bachelor?s level, it only offers the 5-year integrated course leading to B.A, L.L.B (Hons) and admissions are purely based on ranking in the Common Law Admission Test  (CLAT). The institute is known for its Moot Court sessions and the expertise of the teaching faculty. 

  1. University Law College, Bangalore University

Routinely ranked among the top law colleges in the country (top 2 in 2001 and 2004), the University Law College is also one of the few government-run law colleges. The college offers a 5-year integrated course leading to B.A, LL.B and a 2-year PG course leading to LL.M. The undergraduate course is limited to 60 seats including reservation under various quotas.

The School of Law, Christ University (SLCU) is a  part of the Christ Deemed-to-be University that offers law courses from undergraduate level all the way to doctoral research. The college offers two options with their 5-year integrated course - B.A., LL.B and B.B.A., LL.B. Part of the prestigious BHS Group of Institutions, BLIS, as it is popularly known, offers a 5-year integrated course with the marks scored in the 10+2/PUC or equivalent exam the sole eligibility criteria. However, there are seats reserved under various quotas.

The college also offers 5-year integrated courses that award BA, BBA, or B.Com along with LL.B. The law college is also popular for its 2-year postgraduate and other PGD courses.
