Doctor of Medicine (MD) Radiotherapy, also known as Radiation Oncology, is a postgraduate degree course aimed at specializing in the use of radiation for medical purposes. Radiation therapy focuses on using radiation to treat cancer. It also includes oncological evaluation, tumour biology, radiological oncology planning and multidisciplinary cancer care. Radiotherapy is one of the primary fields under oncology, which focuses on cancer treatment.
