About
Established in 1999, Yenepoya Medical College committed to providing a first-class scientific approach to medicine which is combined with educational programs. The college was affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences.
In 2005, the college obtained permission from the Medical Council of India and started postgraduate courses in seven departments. Currently, the college has PG programs in 20 departments.
The college was declared as a constituent of Yenepoya (Deemed-to-be) University under section 3(A) of the UGC Act 1956 as per notification number F 9-11/2007 U-3 dated 27-02-2007) in the year 2009.
