Bangalore University Campus:
Jnana Bharathi Campus: In 1973, Bangalore University moved to a new campus named Jnana Bharathi (JB).
Central College Campus: Now known as the Bengaluru City University, this was a part of the old Bangalore University before the bifurcation.

In the QS 2020 World University Rankings, BU secured an all-India rank between 91 and 96.

Bangalore University Hostel Facilities:
Bangalore University facilities include hostels for both boys and girls. The university provides accommodation, dining, drinking water, a reading room, a TV room/hall, daily newspapers, and many more facilities. The Bangalore University hostel fees structure is also student-friendly.
Health Centre:
Over 14,000 patients visit the Bangalore University Health Centre every year. Both the Jnana Bharathi and Central College campuses have individual health centres.
Bangalore University’s health centre ensures basic medical facilities for the university's staff and students. Moreover, the BU health centres are managed by two senior physicians, who are assisted by the supporting staff and technicians.
Bangalore University’s health centre also accommodates certified and experienced nursing staff capable of managing patients during emergencies.

Library:
The library at Bangalore University came into existence in 1966 by inheriting a collection of about 58,000 books, along with countless bound volumes of periodicals belonging to the Central College Library (affiliated with the University of Mysore back then). Bangalore University’s library was shifted to the Jnana Bharathi campus in 1975.
The library now boasts of a Green Library learning environment. Thousands of plants have been planted around the library to make the environment more serene. The Digital Library services make sure the students have access to e-books through designated mobile apps. Additionally, the library has special workstations for visually challenged students.
