Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre, also known as VIMS is a private medical college in Bangalore that is managed by the Srinivasa Trust and was established in 2000. It is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Medical Sciences(RGUHS) and approved by the erstwhile Medical Council of India (MCI). Now known as the National Medical Commission (NMC). Vydehi Institute of Medical Science and Research Centre was established within a luscious learning environment spread across an area of 65 acres at Whitefield, Bangalore. Along with the spacious environment and the state-of-the-art facilities, the community services of VIMS have granted it a place in the World Health Organisation (WHO) Directory.

The courses offered at VIMS consist of an integrated curriculum that is supported by modern technology followed by comprehensive research. Thereby, making them one of the best in providing quality medical education in India. The presence of highly skilled faculty members at VIMS & RC guarantees its students all the academic and non-academic support that a student can hope for during the tenure of their study in transforming into highly skilled medical professionals. 3D Classrooms: To make education effective and interesting, VIMS and RC possess classrooms with the latest 3D technology. The particular approach was mainly sought to provide a visual representation of the concepts under the domain of medical science. Henceforth, making it easy for students to engage themselves and excel in this particular field.

Library: The Central Library at VIMS and RC is spread across a space of 4000 Sq Mts and can accommodate roughly 750 students at a time. The Library holds a total of around 24,087 Books, 14,653 Textbooks, 3,000 WHO Publications, 300 RGUHS Publications, 137 Indian and 60 International Journals, 675 E-Journals and 9000 E-Books, 1204 Dissertations,169 Auto Cassettes, 34 Video Cassettes, 813 Literature Books and up-to-date Newspapers and magazines related to Medical Sciences.

VASA Simulation Centre: The college is equipped with South East Asia’s largest multi-disciplinary medical simulation centre. The Vydehi Advanced Simulation Academy (VASA) takes a comprehensive approach to training students by using high-end manikins to provide a sense of real-world medical experiences.

VIDA Museum: The Museum is streteched scross a land of 50,000 Mts. It accumulates specimens for the study of various branches in the medical field such as Anatomy, Pathology, Microbiology, Radiology, Forensics, and Community Medicine.

Hostel: The Hostel of Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre is divided into Male and Female Dormitories. The Hostel is facilitated with 24/7 drinking water, comfortable beds, Hygienic Food, etc to support the basic needs of the students while also ensuring their safety.
