GITAM Admissions:

• Candidates applying for the university must have qualified in the GITAM Admission Test (GAT). 
• Management program aspirants can apply with valid scores in MAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT/ NMAT.

Overview:

Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, popularly known as GITAM, was established in 1980 by eminent intellectuals and industrialists led by Dr M. V. V. S. Murthi, former MP and Philanthropist. The main campus of GITAM University is located in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. GITAM was recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) as a Deemed-to-be-University in 2007. Its Bangalore campus was established in 2012.

The University is located on the highway close to Bengaluru International Airport. It is only 3.5 km away from Doddaballapur Railway station. It ensures all the necessary facilities with Smart Classrooms, Laboratories, Seminar Halls, Hostels and other student support facilities.
