University of Agricultural Sciences is a publicly-owned university in Bangalore that is exclusively dedicated to agriculture, dairy, fisheries, and veterinary sciences.

India’s economy is mostly agriculture-focused, which means the country needs people with skills and experience to solve the problems of farmers. Farmers are semi-literate and have minimal understanding about farming practices, diseases, or even crop sciences other than what they have learned from their folks or friends. It’s here that agriculture graduates can help them in several ways than meets the eye.

Many job options exist for agriculture degree holders. One you can start working with the government to help farmers with crop sciences. You can join the industry as researchers or scientists or you can even choose to work as a farmer or teacher.

It depends. While some companies offer industry range, some others only offer salaries based on company standard. Governments offer good salaries plus other added benefits.

Most courses are in English. They also have some courses in Kannada.
