Overview:

KLE Technological University is a Private University located in Hubballi, Karnataka. It was founded by the Karnataka Lingayat Education Society (KLE Society), Belgaum. In 1947, the KLE Society established the BVB College of Engineering and Technology (BVBCET) in Gadag, Karnataka. The college attained academic autonomy and was recognized by the University Grant Commission (UGC) in 2007. In 2014, the engineering college was recognized by the Karnataka State Government as an Autonomous Private Institute. Later that year, it was renamed KLE Technology University after its founding KLE Society. KLE Technological University has successfully lived up to the reputation of its former name, BVB College of Engineering and Technology. As a result, it has occupied a valuable position in the technical education sector of India. KLE Tech University offers UG, PG, and Research programs in various technological fields.

1. KLE Technological University Central Library was established in 1947. It has state of the art infrastructural facilities with more than 1,200 seating capacity.
2. The Central Library at KLE Technological University has a collection of 89,337 volumes of books with 39,400 titles. It also has a subscription to 1,81,200 E-Books from EBSCO academic collections with EBSCO Business Elite sources.  
3. The Library subscribes to 11,767 full-test E-Journals from IEL online, ASME, ASCE, EBSCO Management, EBSCO Art and Architecture, Automotive Abstract Besides. It also has more than 6,500 CDs and DVDs.
4. The library at KLE Technological University, Hubballi facilitates remote access to E-resources.
5. The Library has a RARE and Specialised collection of books of numbering up to 1,500.
