Master of Surgery (MS) Orthopedics

The Master of Surgery (MS) in Orthopedics is a 3-year postgraduate medical programme offered by Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Bangalore. This MS specialization is focused on the diagnosis and treatment of the musculoskeletal system. The curriculum covers Basic Medical Sciences, Fundamental Orthopedics, Trauma Management, Systemic Orthopedics, Orthopedic Diseases, Pediatric Orthopedics, Orthopedic Oncology and Musculoskeletal Surgeries. Students can take up practicals in Joint Replacement Surgeries, Spine Surgery, Arthroscopy, Peripheral Nerve Injury, and Physical Medicine. They can also find exposure at inpatient & outpatient departments, emergency wards, and live projects.
