The Doctor of Medicine in Anaesthesiology at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Bangalore is a three year postgraduate medical course that is centered around the practice of anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, critical care, pain management, and providing care to patients prior to surgery, during surgery, and after surgery. The MD in Anaesthesiology at KIMS provides students with clinical experience in various surgical areas as well as providing education on how to perform pre-anaesthetic evaluations, provide intra-operative care, and manage patient pain.
