Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) is the basic qualification one can pursue to become a dentist. It is one of the most popular courses pursued by the students after MBBS in India. BDS is an undergraduate course with a total duration of 5-years, which includes 4-years of study and one year of a compulsory rotatory paid internship program. The program mainly focuses on dental health and hygiene. It ensures to provide primary education and knowledge about dentistry. The institute provides both theoretical and practical knowledge for the candidates during the learning. BDS course is compulsory for students who want to become professional dentists in any government and private hospital or college.

Candidates should have passed 12th Standard with HSC, PUC, or A-Level or an equivalent examination should have obtained 50% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, and biology (taken together) and should have passed English as one of the subjects. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age on the 31st of December in the year of admission.
