Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Radiotherapy Technology is a 4-year undergraduate degree including a 6 months internship. The students learning this course are learning the treatment of cancer and other diseases with ionizing radiation. Ionizing radiation deposits energy that injures or destroys cells in the area being treated (the “target tissue”) by damaging their genetic material, making it impossible for these cells to continue to grow. At the end of the course, they are hired as Radiology Technicians.

Candidates shall have passed plus 10+2/PUC with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, as principal subjects from a recognised university.
