Jnanavikas Institute of Technology, Bidadi, Bangalore was established in the year 2001 under the management of Jnanavikas Vidya Sangha. The generous donations of Padmashree G. D Goyalji and his family helped in the making of this Institute. The institution is built on around 25 acres of land and provides state-of-the-art facilities for its students. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi; and is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgavi. JVIT College, Bidadi has also been certified with ISO 9001 by TUV SUD South Asia Private Limited.

The college offers Engineering courses in different branches and an MBA course with the latest syllabus and up-to-date pedagogy. The institution aims to achieve international standards of education through practical applications of the theoretical knowledge their students have acquired. Industrial visits, seminars, workshops, etc are conducted regularly to update the students on new technological advancements. The placement cell strives to achieve better job opportunities for its graduates. To ensure this, the Jnanavikas Institute of Technology placements’ cell conducts various placement training programs every year.
