Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Medical Electronics Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Medical Electronics Engineering is an undergraduate engineering programme at BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE), Bengaluru. This specialization combines Electronics Fundamentals and Engineering Principles with Medicine and Healthcare. The discipline focuses on applying Electronic systems and Engineering methods to medical equipment, diagnostics, treatment planning, biomedical instrumentation and healthcare innovation. It essentially bridges the gap between the fields of engineering and medical sciences. Students develop technical knowledge and problem-solving skills related to electronic circuits, biomedical signals, medical instruments and healthcare-device development. Through this specialization, they can design, develop and operate advanced medical equipment to assist doctors, surgeons, radiologists, orthopedic physicians, and other medical professionals in giving effective treatments to patients.
