BMS College of Engineering is a private autonomous engineering college in Bangalore. One of the finest engineering colleges that is also one of the top-ranked in India, the college was established in 1946, the first such initiative in the private sector in the country.
BMS College of Engineering offers both UG and PG courses both in conventional and emerging areas. The college is accredited to AICTE and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The annual intake of the college is 1030 seats for UG and 458 seats for PG including MBA and MCA.
Admissions to the college are based on results in KARCET (Karnataka CET), JEE, and COMEDK (a consortium of private professional colleges in Karnataka).
