Doctor of Medicine (MD) Pathology

Pathology is often called the backbone of medicine — and for students who liked being the one in the group who actually understood why a diagnosis made sense, MD Pathology at BMCH is where that instinct becomes a career. 

The program trains students to examine tissue, blood, and body fluids under the microscope, connecting what's seen at the cellular level to what's happening in a patient's body. Students build hands-on expertise across histopathology, cytology, hematology, and clinical pathology, learning to read biopsies, interpret lab reports, and eventually run diagnostic services of their own.
