Basaveshwara Medical College and Hospital (BMCH) is a private medical college situated at Chitradurga, Karnataka. It was established in 2001-02 by the Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra (SJM) Vidyapeetha Trust. The institution was founded on the aim to give quality medical education and treatment in the local region. It is now one of the reputed private medical colleges in the State.
BMCH, Chitradurga is part of a group of educational institutions that fall under the SJM Trust. Over the two decades since its inception, it has expanded its verticals and now offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate medical education apart from providing healthcare services through its teaching hospital.
