New Horizon Gurukul Academics:

New Horizon Gurukul is affiliated with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).  The curriculum implemented under the CBSE guidelines involves a combination of scholastic and co-scholastic subjects that aim to enrich the behaviour and personality of children in a friendly and inspirational environment. The academic structure of New Horizon Gurukul consists of three divisions: They are;

• Primary Division

• Secondary Division

• Senior Secondary

Primary Division:

At New Horizon Gurukul, the primary division includes grades I to V. The educational system under this division is designed to empower and transform children to become self-sufficient individuals in a secure, stimulating, and multicultural environment. Moreover, dedicated faculty members aid in organising various activities such as pair discussions, group discussions, story-telling sessions, and reading sessions with the primary goal of helping children develop their language, interpersonal, creativity and lateral thinking skills. By doing so, every student is encouraged to learn, thrive, and achieve their goals while having fun during the process. 

Additionally, the school offers a value education programme known as ‘Values Plus’, with the core idea of including the principles of the Bhagavad Gita into the curriculum. These values are covered under various categories. I.e. Universal, Social, Cultural, Personal and Spiritual. By instilling these values, the school aims to enhance the moral, spiritual and emotional well-being of students.

Secondary Division:

At the Secondary level, NHG aims to provide students from grades VI to X with a strong academic and personal foundation through superior pedagogical techniques such as Project-Based Learning (PBL) and experiential learning methodologies. By integrating with the CBSE board, the school focuses on offering a curriculum that is both student-friendly and student-centred. Additionally, the school employs the parameters of the Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation System to assess the classes under this division. 

Even within this division, New Horizon Gurukul provides a ‘Values Plus’ education programme that focuses on incorporating the core principles of the Bhagavad Gita into the curriculum. These values are categorised to be age-specific,with sufficient post-programme assessment. Moreover, for grades XI and X, the programme concentrates on educating students about how science and spirituality can co-exist, thus acting as a foundation for enabling an enlightened worldview.

Senior Secondary Division:

The New Horizon Gurukul senior secondary division houses grades XI and XII. The curriculum implemented in these grades is CBSE-oriented. By affiliating with the board, the school takes a comprehensive approach by integrating various disciplines of academia to offer a holistic education. Moreover, the subjects in this division are offered under two combinations. I.e. Combination 1, consisting of science-related subjects, and Combination 2, consisting of commerce-related subjects. In both these combinations, English is taught as the primary language. 

New Horizon Gurukul Admission:

Parents who wish to enrol their children at New Horizon Gurukul must register for the admission process by accessing the registration form from the school’s website.

Steps to register for the New Horizon Gurukul Admission Process:

Step 1: Visit the official website of New Horizon Gurukul.

Step 2: Scan the QR code displayed on the Admission Notice Pop-Up, or click on the ‘Admissions’ tab and choose the preferred grade.

Step 3: Enter the preferred class in the allotted column and specify the academic year.

Step 4: Fill in the necessary details such as ‘Student Information’, ‘Parent Information ', and’ Guardian Information’ (optional), along with other school-specific details and click on ‘Pay and Submit’.

Step 5: You will be redirected to a payment portal, where you will have to pay the registration fee.

Step 6: Download and take a printout of the fee payment details for future reference.

• The school fees can be paid in two instalments.
