Master of Technology (M.Tech.) Highway Technology

The M.Tech in Highway Technology at R.V. College of Engineering (RVCE), Bengaluru is a two-year full-time postgraduate engineering programme offered under the Civil Engineering department. The programme focuses on advanced concepts related to highway engineering, pavement materials, traffic engineering, highway geometric design, pavement analysis and design, road safety, highway construction and maintenance. The RVCE curriculum also includes applications of MATLAB and Python in pavement engineering, Remote Sensing and GIS, Ground Improvement Techniques, Reinforced Earth Panel Walls and Environmental Impact Assessment for Road Projects. The programme code for M.Tech Highway Technology is MHT, and RVCE's official postgraduate programme records list an intake of 18 seats.
