Course detail and Structure

Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharm program is a 2- year course. It is the minimum qualification for aspirants to work as a pharmacist. The course teaches the knowledge of different types of drugs, its use, process and properties. Students learn to handle tasks such as checking prescriptions, compounding, dispensing drugs, maintaining drug store inventory and also learn how to prescribe dosage to patients. The D.Pharm course includes subjects such as Pharmacognosy, Biochemistry and Clinical, Pathology, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Health Education, Community Pharmacy and many more. Candidates should have passed 10+2. They should have undertaken Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English. A minimum of 50% marks should be scored altogether.
