Bachelor of Pharmacy or B.Pharm is a 4-year undergraduate program divided into 8 semesters. The course covers the methods of processing and preparing drugs. It is mandatory to take up B. Pharm to become a Pharmacist. The course also teaches in-depth knowledge of science and medicine. B.Pharm has practical sessions and course work for students in which they perform various experiments and practical sessions. It offers theory and laboratory courses, assignments, and more. The program is regulated by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The course subjects include Human Anatomy, Medical Chemistry, Industrial Pharmacy, Physical Pharmaceutics, and many more. B.Pharm degree has a great demand and scope in the healthcare industry.

A Drug Inspector’s major role is to monitor, assess, research and evaluate information about different medications from health care providers or patients. A Drug Inspector can have a sub role as Drug Safety Officer who monitors and specializes in the adverse effects of medicine or become a Medical Reviewer, whose job is to perform audits and review medical data to ensure the quality assessment of the drugs are accurate.
