Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a 3-year postgraduate program offered for BDS eligible candidates. Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is one of the essential specializations that deals mainly with the Diagnosis, Surgery, and Adjunctive treatment of Ailments, Wounds, and Deformities of human jaws and related oral and facial structures. The specialization also deals with the defects that occur in the head, neck, jaws, hard and soft oral tissues, as well as Maxillofacial (Jaws and Face) region.
Eligibility
Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Candidates should have a BDS degree from a college affiliated with any university established in India and recognized by the DCI and the Government of India. They should have completed a rotatory internship on or before the 30th of April in the year of admission.
