Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Aeronautical Engineering

The Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) Aeronautical Engineering is a four-year undergraduate engineering programme focused on the design, development, testing, operation and maintenance of aircraft and related aerospace systems. The Department of Aeronautical Engineering at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology was established in the academic year 2011-12 with an initial intake of 60 students, which was subsequently increased to 120 students in 2020-21. The programme covers aeronautical engineering concepts and provides students with academic and practical exposure to areas related to aviation, aerospace and aircraft engineering.
