NEET-PG Exam Fee Reduced by Rs.750 for All Categories

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reduced the application fees for the NEET-PG examination by Rs. 750 for all categories. Candidates who are applying for NEET-PG 2024 after January 1st, 2024, will be provided with the benefit of the fee reduction. NEET-PG 2024 exam is scheduled for July 7th, 2024.

Up until December 2023, the fee for the NEET-PG examination was Rs. 4,250. However, as of January 1st, 2024, the implementation of the decision by NBEMS has reduced the NEET-PG 2024 examination fee from Rs. 4,250 to Rs. 3,500 for General and OBC categories. The examination fee for SC, ST and PwD categories has been reduced from Rs. 3,250 to Rs. 2,500. 

The decision was taken by the NBEMS as a means to ease the financial burden of the candidates. The President of NBEMS, Dr. Abhijat Sheth, mentioned that he would like to convey his gratitude to the Union Minister, Mansukh Mandaviya, for his leadership, because of which the NBEMS was successful in achieving its objective of improving the quality of Medical education in India.
