NEET-PG 2024 Exam Preponed

The National Medical Commission (NMC) preponed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2024 examination to June 23rd, 2024. The cut-off date for the completion of the internship to be eligible for NEET-PG 2024 remains unchanged i.e. August 15th, 2024.

NMC released the revised schedule of NEET-PG 2024 on their official website.

The decision was taken during a meeting held by the Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB) of the National Medical Commission with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), the Directorate General for Health Sciences (DGHS), and the National Board of Examinations for Medical Sciences (NBEMS) to avoid a clash in the dates with respect to the Lok Sabha elections.

Earlier, the NEET-PG 2024 examination was scheduled to be held on July 7th, 2024.
