KEA NEET UG 2026 Counselling Registration Process Begins

The Karnataka Examinations Authority has announced the opening of an online registration window for candidates who have cleared NEET UG 2026. This is intended for seats in MBBS, BDS, or AYUSH courses in Karnataka for the academic year 2026-27.
The registration window opened on July 17th, 2026. It is intended for the 85% state quota seats that come under Karnataka state and not for the 15% All India Quota (AIQ). This covers government, private, and deemed medical colleges across the South Indian state for Government, Private, Management, and NRI quota.
Candidates will need to complete the online registration, upload the required documents, and pay the prescribed application fee within the given deadline. The process is expected to run across four to five rounds until all available seats across MBBS, BDS, and AYUSH courses are filled but be warned, if you do not sign up before 24th July, you cannot sign up for Rounds 2 and 3.
KEA NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Check eligibility under KEA and ensure that you meet all eligibility criteria.
Step 2: Visit the official KEA website and click on the button with the three lines on the upper right side of the page.
Step 3: Click on the ‘ADMISSIONS’ tab, then select ‘UGNEET-2026 (Medical/ Dental/ AYUSH)’.
Step 4: Select ‘UGNEET - 2026 ONLINE APPLICATION LINK (ONLY FOR NEW REGISTRATION) (17-07-2026)’.
Step 5: Fill out the necessary information under ‘NEW USER REGISTRATION’.
Step 6: Complete document verification.
Step 7: Check the state merit list.
Step 8: Fill and lock college/ course choices (option entry).
Step 9: Complete the counselling process and get a seat allotted to you.
