The Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges’ Association (KPPGCA) commenced the registrations for the Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2026 for Session 2. Eligible candidates can register online on the official Karnataka MAT website on or before October 31, 2026.
As per the official notification, the examination will be held online on November 14, 2026 (Saturday) with students being able to appear for the exam remotely. To be eligible, students must hold a recognised Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of 3 years in any discipline, with a minimum of 50% minimum aggregate marks for general category and 45% marks for SC/ ST categories. The admit cards for the test are yet to be announced by the exam authorities.
The Karnataka MAT is a postgraduate entrance examination used for admissions for MBA/ PGDM and MCA programmes at over 189 private institutions in Karnataka. It is held in an MCQ paper format with 3 sections consisting of 40 questions each with the same difficulty level for fair examination among students.
Step 1: Visit the official Karnataka MAT website.
Step 2: Select ‘KMAT Application’ on the homepage.
Step 3: On the redirected page, click on ‘Register (New Candidate)’.
Step 4: Enter all the required details and select ‘Submit and Continue’.
Step 5: You will receive the login credentials via email.
Step 6: Use the credentials to log in and access the application form.
Step 7: Fill out the application form and upload the required documents.
Step 8: Submit the form and pay the application fee.
Step 9: Download and print out the application form for future reference.
