JEE Advanced 2026 Registration Dates Extended

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has extended the registration deadline for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2026. As per the latest official announcement, eligible candidates can now complete their registration process until 11:59 PM on May 5, 2026.

Candidates who have qualified in the JEE Main 2026 examination are eligible to apply through the official JEE Advanced portal. Applicants are advised to complete their registration at the earliest, including the payment of the application fee, as the process will be considered incomplete without successful fee submission.

As per the schedule, JEE Advanced 2026 will be conducted on May 17, 2026. The examination will be held in two sessions in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode. Paper 1 is scheduled from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by Paper 2 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Steps to Register for JEE Advanced 2026:

Step 1: Visit the official JEE Advanced website. On the homepage, locate the ‘Important Announcements’ section and find the link related to Online Registration for JEE (Advanced) 2026.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Online Registration for JEE (Advanced) 2026’ link. You will be redirected to the candidate login page meant for eligible candidates who have qualified in JEE Main 2026.

Step 3: Log in using your JEE (Main) 2026 Application Number, Password, and the Security Pin displayed on the screen. After entering the required credentials correctly, click on the ‘Login’ button to access the registration portal.

Step 4: After logging in, carefully fill in the required registration details, verify the pre-filled information, and upload the necessary documents if prompted. Proceed to pay the JEE Advanced 2026 registration fee through the available online payment modes. Once the payment is successfully completed, click on the ‘Submit’ button to finalize the registration.

Step 5: After successful submission, download the confirmation page generated by the system. It is advisable to save a copy and take a printout of the confirmation page for future reference, including admit card download and examination-related processes.
