CLAT 2025 Counselling Begins

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has officially opened the registration window for CLAT Counselling 2025. Candidates who have cleared the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 can now register for the counselling process through the official website. The last date to complete the registration is May 21, 2025 (5:00 PM).

Eligible candidates were invited via email, SMS, and the CLAT portal. Such candidates are required to update their NLU preferences and pay a non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 30,000 (General) or Rs. 20,000 (Reserved categories). Moreover, they are required to select a minimum of 15 NLUs and are advised to order their preferences carefully.

Steps to apply for the counselling rounds of CLAT 2025 UG:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLU)

Step 2: Go to the notification column mentioned on the website.

Step 3: Log in to the CLAT 2025 Portal

Step 4: Check the invitation for counselling under your login dashboard

Step 5: Click “Update NLU Preferences” and choose at least 15 NLUs in order of priority

Step 6: Click on “Make Payment” and pay the counselling registration fee as mentioned for the particular category - General (Rs. 30,000) and Reserved (Rs. 20,000)
