The Consortium of National Law Universities began the counselling registrations for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2025 on December 11, 2024. Eligible candidates can register for the same by visiting the CNLU official website by December 20, 2024.
Candidates are considered to be eligible for the CLAT 2025 counselling process only if they receive a formal confirmation mail/ SMS on their registered mail ID/ phone number or an invitation on their CLAT 2025 profile. The registration process will be considered complete only after the candidates have paid the respective registration fee. Those who fail to do so will not be allowed to take part in the counselling process.
Additionally, the Consortium of National Law Universities announced the schedule of the CLAT 2025 counselling registration process on December 09, 2024. The counselling process will consist of five rounds which will continue till June 2025.

CLAT 2025 Registration Process:
Step 1: Visit the official website of CLAT 2025.
Step 2: Log in to your CLAT 2025 account.
Step 3: Click on the ‘Update NLU Preference’ button.
Step 4: Review the seat matrix and the different programmes available.
Step 5: Fill in the preferences (15 minimum).
Note: The candidates can update their preferences numerous times. However, the rank of the preferences can only go up and not down. The request to alter the preferences will not be accepted after the deadline.
Step 6: Click on the ‘Make Payment’ button and pay the allocated fee to complete the registration process
