M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing is a postgraduate program offered for 2-years by the college for all the eligible and interested candidates. Psychiatric nurses are also known as mental health nurses. Psychiatric Nursing is a program that ensures to assist some of the mentally unstable patients. This program mainly trained the candidates to be skilled and knowledgeable to work with mentally disturbed patients. Psychiatric nurses are eligible to work in mental institutes, psychiatric medical settings, and mental asylums. The candidates can also work as a professor or educator, nurse manager, and researcher under multiple psychiatric nursing fields.
M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing
The candidate should have passed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing from a college recognized by the INC and the Government of India. The college should be affiliated with any university established in India. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience after obtaining a B.Sc. Nursing degree. Candidates should also be registered in any state nursing council as Registered Nurses and/or Registered Midwives.
