Master of Science (M.Sc) Psychiatric Nursing is a 2-year postgraduate programme in K.R. College of Nursing. The students are taught ethics, counselling, theory and practice of mental health nursing. The students learn how to take care of patients who are suffering from mental health illness. The course covers mental health counselling, career and lifestyle development, research programme etc.
Master of Science (M.Sc.) Psychiatric Nursing
Must have passed B.sc. Nursing Or post basic B. Sc. Nursing or Post Certificate B. Sc. Nursing in College recognised by INC and Government of India affiliated to any university established by Law in India and must have obtained a minimum of not less than 55% aggregate marks. Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining B.Sc. nursing .Registered in any state nursing council as a registered nurse and registered midwife.
