What is AIIMS Nursing?

AIIMS Nursing is an annual entrance exam conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi, for admissions into the following courses at all branches of AIIMS in the country:

  • Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing
  • Post Basic Bachelor of Science (P.B.B.Sc) in Nursing
  • Master of Science (M.Sc) in Nursing

Eligibility Criteria

B.Sc in Nursing:

  • Candidates need to complete their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as compulsory subjects from a recognized educational board. 
  • They have to score a minimum of 55% in PCB and English (45% for the reserved category) in their final examination. 
  • The candidate should be an Indian Citizen and must be at least 17 years of age on 31st December of the application year. 
  • Only female candidates are eligible to apply for this course. 

P.B.B.Sc in Nursing:

  • Candidates need to complete their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) as compulsory subjects from a recognized educational board. 
  • They must have done a Diploma in General Nurse and Midwifery (DGNM). 
  • They must be registered with the State Nursing Council. 

M.Sc in Nursing:

  • Candidates must have completed B.Sc/ P.B.B.Sc in Nursing from a recognized college. 
  • They have to score a minimum of 60% in aggregate (55% for the reserved category) in their qualifying examination.
