St. Joseph's Institute of Management (SJIM) Bangalore, a reputed institute, is one of the oldest management institutes in Karnataka. The college falls under the management of a group of missionaries who are part of the Jesuit order called Jesuits and is the only Jesuit Business School in Bangalore. St. Joseph's Institute of Management (SJIM) is located at the heart of Garden City, MG Road, Bangalore, and was established in 1968. Ever since then, SJIM Bangalore has been one of the top business schools in Bangalore.

The college is a member of the Global Jesuits Network International Association of Jesuit Business Schools (IAJBS) and Xavier Association of Management Institutions (XAMI). At St. Joseph's Institute of Management (SJIM), Bangalore, the courses offered include Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D). The college offers different specialisations for its students in accordance with their interests in the subject. The faculty regularly updates themselves in advanced pedagogical techniques and are well-qualified from top-notch schools in the country and abroad. It is equipped with more than 24,000 volumes and subscribes to more than 50 international and national journals, magazines, and newspapers such as EBSCO, Sage Journals, PROWESS, CRISIL Research, Capitaline, J-Gate, The KEN, Indiastat, Live Lawand and contains more than  17,000 e-books to help the students and faculty with their research. St. Joseph's Institute of Management (SJIM), Bangalore provides on-campus hostels for women. Whereas, the men’s hostel is a five-minute walk from the main campus. The SJIM Hostel provides breakfast and dinner on working days and three meals on holidays and Sundays. There are many facilities available for both men and women at the hostels, such as 24/7 WIFI, security, gym, library, basketball court, parking lot, and many others.
