Sri Rajiv Gandhi College of Dental Sciences & Hospital is a private dental college established in 1991 by Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust. The college caters to students from all over the country and outside. There are many international students currently studying at the institute for its highly experienced and well-qualified faculties. It provides quality infrastructure and excellent quality education.
The college, affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and recognised by the Dental Council of India, offers both BDS and MDS courses. The college is located in Chola Nagar, R T Nagar Post, a posh locality with lots of reasonable restaurants, transport facilities and PG accommodation nearby.
The total intake of the college is 100 for BDS and 24 for MDS. The students seeking admission for BDS courses need to pass their higher secondary examination with a minimum score of 50% with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English as compulsory subjects. They will also have to appear for the NEET exam to qualify for the admission process. For MDS courses, the students must have a BDS degree from an Indian University and appear for NEET PG exam.

So their earnings potential is reached more rapidly compared to medical doctors. Medical doctors take time to work professionally, but have an overall better income compared to dentists when they start doing so.
The research Centre of the institution has adequate facilities for the research activities by the teaching faculties and post graduate students in all the specialties. All national and international journals in both medical and dental subjects are available in the Central library in addition to the large collections of reference books in the departmental library for the study of research activities and updating the knowledge across the world.
