SJB Institute of Technology

SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT) is an accredited, privately-funded engineering college in Bangalore. Established in 2001 by Adichunchunagiri Shikshana Trust, the college is located in an attractive campus outside Bangalore among greenery. SJBIT is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by AICTE. The college offers four-year full-time undergraduate degree courses in six streams with an annual intake of 720 and two year full-time PG courses in ten courses with 282 seats. The students can take admissions to the college are based on results in KARCET (Karnataka CET), JEE, and COMEDK (consortium of private professional colleges in Karnataka). The faculty members of the college are highly-educated in their own field. 

SJB Institute of Engineering is committed to the social and intellectual growth of the students. Other facilities provided by the college are:

• Library: The college library has a total collection of more than 15,000 volumes of books with about 2,920 titles. Currently, the library is subscribing to more than 60 journals and magazines related to the field of technology.
