Founded in 2011 in Bangalore by Sri Srinivasa Educational & Charitable Trust, Sapthagiri Institute of Medical Science & Research Centre is a private institute that offers allied health sciences, medical and paramedical courses. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
The institute offers MBBS, MD/MS and B.Sc level paramedical programmes to the students. Admissions to the college are based on scores in 10+2 or HSC level with PCB and English mandatory. There is no entrance test for paramedical courses and NEET UG/PG for medical courses.
The college deputes its students to its multispecialty hospital for during and after studies. The multi-purpose hospital in the college campus caters to the health needs of the people and work as a teaching hospital for the students.
