Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology is a private engineering college in Bangalore established in 2001 by Sir. M. Visvesvaraya Education Trust. The college is known for providing quality education to the students. It is affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college has faculty members who are highly qualified in their field. The annual intake for UG seats is 420 and for PG programmes it?s 132 seats including MBA. All admissions to the college are based on results in KARCET (Karnataka CET), JEE, and COMEDK (a consortium of private professional colleges in Karnataka). Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology aims at efficient technical training for the students. The facilities provided by the college are:

• Library: The college library has a collection of more than 10,000 volumes. It is quite spacious and seats more than 250 students. 

• Hostel: There is separate hostel accommodation available for boys and girls. The rooms are well-furnished and have all the modern facilities. 

• Sports: The college believes in the overall development of the students. Therefore, the college organises sports activities and provides facilities for indoor and outdoor games.

• Events and activities: There are many workshops, seminars and activities organised by the college for the students.
