Naseema Institute of Health Science

Naseema Institute of Optometry and Research is a private academy offering a bachelor’s degree in optometry. According to the chairman of the college, it was formed to produce a sizeable number of qualified Optometrists so that the routine visual problems are taken care of leaving the more complicated surgical and curative problems to ophthalmologists. The institute is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI).  Admissions to the college are based on scores in 10+2 or HSC level with PCB and English mandatory. There is no entrance test. The college aims at meeting the public need by graduating Optometrists and offer other educational programs responsive to ocular health and vision care. It provides an enriched academic environment which encourages learning and professional development of its students.
