LIMA Institute of Nursing Science is owned and managed by the founders of Matru Multispeciality Hospital, a leading hospital in Bangalore. The institution is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science and is approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC). Its close association with a large hospital helps students to widen their nursing experiences and learn from well-known Doctors. They offer BSc Nursing (4 Years) and Diploma in General Nursing and midwifery(GNM) (3 Years).The Institute has a strong infrastructure with hostel facilities, laboratories, computer center and many more to nurture students with a strong foundation and practical knowledge in Nursing Sciences. LIMA Institute of Nursing Science offers a six-acre spacious campus with excellent learning ambience. Apart from scheduled theory classes, students are exposed to nursing clinical practices with parent hospitals and other reputed hospitals in and around Bangalore. The well rounded clinical experiences are gained by the students from various types of nursing setups. Students are under the expert guidance of class coordinators who are also subject experts. At LIMA, it is compulsory that all students are in-house students and the hostel is within the campus. Students who complete their education become a member of the reputed Alumni Association and also become lifelong learners through various activities conducted through the association.
