G Madegowda Institute of Naturopathy and Yoga Sciences (GMINYS), established in 2004, is located in Maddur Taluk, 95 kms away from Bangalore. The college is a part of the Bharathi Education Trust (BET). Their main aim is to provide education in rural areas, providing safe health care facilities, and providing food for the needy. The college’s main mission is to spread the teaching of classical yoga, spiritual well being and self-realization. They uphold the practice of yoga and a healthy lifestyle. The program has two systems Naturopathy and Yoga, with the purpose of natural care and logic systems, guiding healthy individuals, maintaining and improving health.

The college campus is located in Maddur, in serene surroundings creating a peaceful mindset for students. The college campus is well equipped with modern amenities for modern teaching.
