East-West Institute of Technology

The East-West Institute of Technology was established by Subramanya Education Society as a private engineering college. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). The institution offers several diplomas, bachelors, masters and Phd. level engineering courses from two campuses in the city. The college has a placement cell that offers training to the students as per the latest industrial requirements. Several top tier IT and business firms like Infosys, Tata, Microsoft, Accenture, Nokia, Motorola, Cadence and more have hired students from the college. The college considers results in obtained KAR-CET (Karnataka CET), JEE, and COMEDK (a consortium of private professional colleges in Karnataka) for admissions.
