Master of Surgery (MS) General Surgery in AIMS is a 3-year post-graduate course that deals with the branch of medicine with a surgical speciality that focuses on the human abdomen. These parts include the oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, liver, pancreas, gallbladder, appendix and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland (depending on local referral patterns)

Candidates should have obtained an MBBS Degree from a college recognised by the MCI and the Government of India and must be affiliated to any university established in India and should have completed a rotatory internship on or before 30th of April in the year of admission.
