Jain University, formerly called Sri Bhagawan Mahaveer Jain College (SBMJC), was established in 1990. Jain University ranks among the top universities in India and is considered to be one of the top destinations for students across the world. Jain University is located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It was established under the aegis of the JGI Group. In 2009, it was granted Deemed-to-be-University status. 

Jain University was accredited ‘A’ grade by the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC) in the year 2017. It ranks 7th among the best Private Universities in Bangalore by India Today. JET:

Jain University conducts the Jain Entrance Test (JET). JET is a National Level entrance exam that is administered to grant Jain University admission to various Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses.

JET Exam Eligibility:

Jain University decides the eligibility criteria for the JET entrance exam. The guidelines formulated by the university is dependent on the different courses offered by the university. The primary eligibility criteria for JET are to get at least 50% in either 12th standard or any Undergraduate Course, depending on the course chosen by the candidates.
