M.Sc Nursing in Community Health Service is a 2-year Post Graduate level course offered for the institute’s B.Sc eligible nursing candidates. Community health nurses are mainly responsible for the healthcare of a particular community. The program ensures in-depth knowledge and understanding of the field of community health nursing. To become a community health nurse, candidates must be registered by attending the National Council Licensure Examination after completing the course. The program also ensures that students develop to function as a community health nurse or a medical specialist.
Eligibility
M.Sc in Community Health Nursing
The candidate should have passed B.Sc. Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or Post Certificate B.Sc. Nursing from a college recognized by the INC and the Government of India and should be affiliated with any university established in India. The candidate should have obtained a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. Candidates should have a minimum of one year of experience after obtaining a B.Sc. Nursing degree. Candidates should also be registered in any state nursing council as Registered Nurses and/or Registered Midwives.
