What is VTU ETR?

Visvesvaraya Technological University Eligibility Test for Research (VTU ETR) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgavi. The exam is conducted once a year. VTU PHD ETR exam is a mandatory entrance test for admission in Ph.D. and M.S. Research courses at Visvesvaraya Technological University. The programs offered after qualifying in the entrance exam are as follows:

• Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Science

• Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Science

VTU ETR 2025 registration process and admit card release dates are yet to be announced by the Visvesvaraya Technological University. Aspirants need to complete their master's and bachelor's from a recognised university in India to answer the exam. They need to secure a minimum aggregate of 60% in their master's and 70% in their bachelor's, respectively.
