VTU ETR Registration:
Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to register and fill up the application form for VTU PHD ETR exam 2022:

Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants have to meet the following VTU ETR eligibility criteria to apply for the exam:
VTU ETR Educational Qualification:
Engineering:
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent should have a minimum aggregate score of 60% (CGPA of 6.5 out of 10) from an institution recognized by VTU.
- Candidates with an undergraduate degree in Engineering/ Technology or equivalent should have a minimum aggregate score of 70% (CGPA of 7.5 out of 10) from an institution recognized by VTU.
- Candidates applying with a bachelor's degree should also submit published research papers in refereed journals or filed/ obtained patents, subject to approval by the Admissions Committee.
Management Studies:
- Candidates with regular mode PG degree:
- Candidates must have graduated with an MBA or equivalent with a minimum aggregate score of 60% (CGPA of 6.75 out of 10) from a recognized university.
- Candidates with distance mode PG degree:
- Candidates with MBA or equivalent from distance education in UGC/ DEB approved Institutions are eligible.
- They must have two years of teaching/ research/ corporate experience after the successful completion of their PG Degree.
Science:
- Candidates with regular mode PG degree:
- Candidates must have graduated with an MCA or M. Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Geology or equivalent with a minimum aggregate score of 60% (CGPA of 6.75 out of 10) from a recognized university.
- Candidates with distance mode MCA degree:
- Candidates with MCA or equivalent from distance education in UGC/ DEB approved Institutions are eligible.
- They must have two years of teaching/ research/ corporate experience after the successful completion of their PG Degree.
Architecture:
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in Architecture/ Allied Specialization or equivalent should have a minimum aggregate score of 60% (CGPA of 6.5 out of 10) from a recognized university.
- Candidates with an undergraduate degree in Architecture/ Allied Specialization or equivalent should have a minimum aggregate score of 70% (CGPA of 7.5 out of 10) from a recognized university.
- Candidates applying with a bachelor's degree should have experience of 10 years in teaching/ research/ professional practice in the field, subject to approval by the Admissions Committee.
Program in Interdisciplinary Subject Areas:
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in a relevant branch or discipline should have a minimum aggregate score of 60% (CGPA of 6.5 out of 10) from a recognized university.
