Candidates can register for PESSAT by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PESSAT.
Step 2: Click on the Registration link for PESSAT.
Step 3: Select the preferred course.
Step 4: Enter your Name, Date of Birth, and Gender.
Step 5: Submit your Email ID.
Step 6: Go through the details that have been provided and submit them.
The candidate's registration number will be sent to their official email address. After submitting the details for the registration process, candidates will be redirected to the PESSAT application form.
How to fill-up the PESSAT Application Form?
Step 1: Candidates have to select their blood group from the dropdown list.
Step 2: Select the Nationality, Religion, and Category.
Step 3: Select the Caste and Mother Tongue.
Step 4: Enter Family Size and Place of Birth.
Step 5: Candidates have to submit their Communication Address and a 10-digit valid mobile number.
Step 6: Submit details of Parents.

Step 9: Submit a recent passport-size photograph and signature.

- Grasp the PESSAT Syllabus:
Candidates should have a proper idea of the PESSAT exam syllabus. It will allow the candidates to prepare a proper schedule for the exam and follow it meticulously.
Having proper knowledge of the syllabus of the PESSAT exam will also allow candidates to have a proper idea of the areas in which they are weak and prepare accordingly.
- Hold on to the right PESSAT Resources:
Preparing for PESSAT requires the right resources, such as books and e-resources. Candidates should always hold on to the right resources that will help them ace the examination.
- Ace Revision and Mock Tests for PESSAT:
Revision forms an integral part of exam preparation as it helps the candidates keep themselves updated with the topics. PESSAT Mock Tests also become an important part of the revision process as it allows the candidates to understand the exam pattern.
Answering multiple mock tests will allow the candidates to devise a strategy in which they will go about the PESSAT Exam Pattern. Candidates should aim to answer at least 8 to 10 mock tests before the final PESSAT examination.

PESSAT Admit Card:
Candidates can download the PESSAT Admit Card by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PESSAT.
Step 2: Click on the link that reads "PESSAT Admit Card".
Step 3: Candidates have to submit their Application Number and Email ID.
Step 4: They have to book their preferred date and time for the PESSAT Exam.
Step 5: After the candidates have booked the date and time, the Admit Card will be displayed on their screen.
Step 6: Candidates should check the information provided on the Admit Card of PESSAT exam. If the information is incorrect, then they should take a printout of the admit card. If it's incorrect, then they should report it to the concerned authorities.
Along with the Admit Card, they have to carry a Government approved ID card to the PESSAT Exam Centre.
PESSAT Results:
Candidates have to download the PESSAT results by following the below-mentioned steps:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PESSAT.
Step 2: Click on the link that reads "PESSAT Results".
Step 3: Candidates will be redirected to the Login page.
Step 4: They have to enter their PESSAT Roll Number and Date of Birth.
Step 5: The PESSAT Scorecard will be displayed on the candidate's screen.
Step 6: Candidates can check the details mentioned on the scorecard and download it for future references. If the candidates encounter any problems, then they should report the same to the concerned authorities of the PESSAT exam.
Based on the rank secured in PESSAT, the PESSAT Merit List will be prepared. Candidates will be invited for the counselling sessions or the further admission process based on the PESSAT Merit List.
PESSAT Cut offs:
Candidates have to clear the PESSAT Cut off to get invited for the counselling process or further admission process of PES University.
The Cut offs of the PESSAT exam will be different for all the courses as well as the 3 PES University campuses.
The Cut offs for the PESSAT exam depends on the following factors:

PESSAT Admission Process:
A) B.Tech:
Counselling sessions shall be conducted for B.Tech courses. It shall be based on the PESSAT Cut off for the university.

B) BBA, B.Com, MBA, M.Com, MCA, and LLB:
PES University shall conduct a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) process for all the other courses after the PESSAT exam.
Candidates shall be selected for the courses based on their performance in GD and PI, which will be conducted after the PESSAT exam.
For all other courses, other than the ones mentioned above, candidates will be admitted based on the marks obtained in the PESSAT Examination.
FAQs
- Candidates need to pass their 12th Standard or Graduation in the required field and minimum marks.
- PESSAT is conducted by PES University.
- Candidates are awarded 1 mark for each correct answer in the PESSAT exam. There are no negative marks for the incorrect answer.
- Candidates aren't allowed to carry calculators for PESSAT.
- PESSAT will be conducted in the online mode except for B.Des, which will be conducted in offline mode.
- Candidates have to pay Rs. 1050 for courses at Ring Road and Electronic City Campus. For courses at the Hanumanth Nagar campus, they have to pay Rs. 550.
- PES University provides separate hostel accommodation for both boys and girls.
- PESSAT exam will be conducting soon.
- Yes, it is compulsory for all qualified candidates to appear for the counselling session for B.Tech admissions after the PESSAT exam.
- PESSAT is not conducted for B.Arch. Admissions to the course is based on the candidate's NATA scores.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to check out their respective eligibility criteria for their preferred course before applying for the PESSAT exam:
A) B.Tech:
- Candidates aspiring to undertake the PESSAT exam to study this course need to complete their 12th Standard in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- They need to score at least 60% in their 12th Standard.
B) B.Tech (Lateral Entry):
- Candidates need to pursue their Diploma in the preferred field of Engineering.
- They need to score a minimum of 60% in their Diploma.
C) M.Tech:
- Candidates aspiring to undertake the PESSAT exam to study this course need to complete their B.Tech in the relevant field of engineering from any of the recognized universities in the country.
- They need to score a minimum of 60% in their B.Tech
- Candidates with relevant work experience can also apply for the course.
D) BBA and B.Com (Evening and Regular):
- Candidates can pursue these courses after completing their 12th Standard in any stream from any of the recognized educational boards in India.
- They need to score a minimum of 60% in their 12th standard.
E) M.Com:
- Candidates can pursue this course after completing their B.Com from any of the recognized universities in the country.

F) MBA:

H) BBA LLB and BA LLB:
- These courses can be pursued after the completion of 12th Standard in any of the relevant fields from a recognized educational board in the country.
- Candidates need to score a minimum of 50% in their 12th Standard.
I) MCA:
- Candidates who have completed their BCA or relevant 3-year Computer Degree can apply for this program.
