What is CMRUAT?

CMR University is a renowned private university which is located in Bangalore, Karnataka. The university was established and governed by the CMR University Act 2013.

CMR University Admission Test or CMRUAT is an annual national level entrance examination conducted by CMR University for admitting students into its various undergraduate and postgraduate courses.

CMRUAT 2022 Registration:

Candidates can register for CMRUAT 2022 by following the below-mentioned steps: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of CMRUAT 2022.   
Step 2: Candidates need to click on "Apply Now". 
Step 3: They need to choose the type of program they want to apply for. 
Step 4: Candidates have to enter the required details to register for the exam. 

Candidates User ID and Password will be sent on their registered email id and mobile number. 

This User ID and Password will be further used during the registration process for CMR University Admission Test and also while downloading Admit Card and Result for the examination. 

How to fill up the CMRUAT application form? 

Step 1: Visit the official website of CMRUAT 2022 and click on Apply Now. 
Step 2: They need to select the type of courses. 
Step 3: Candidates need to click on the tab that reads, "CMRUAT Login."
Step 4: Login using your User ID and Password, which was generated during the registration process.  
Step 5: Fill up the required details, which shall include: Personal Details, Address, Educational Details, and Work Experience (If any).
Step 6: Upload the required documents in the format that is mentioned above.  
Step 7: Select the preferred exam centre. 
Step 8: Verify the details on the CMRUAT Application form and make the necessary changes, if required, as there will be no correction window available. 
Step 9: Pay the CMRUAT Application fees. CMRUAT 2022 Application Fees is Rs. 800, irrespective of their category. 
Step 10: Preview the application form and take a printout of the CMRUAT Application Form.

Candidates can prepare for CMRUAT by following the below-mentioned preparation tips: 

  • Knowledge of CMRUAT Syllabus:
    Candidates should have a proper idea of the CMRUAT syllabus as it helps them create the perfect strategy for the examination. It helps to focus on all the topics for CMRUAT exam during the preparation and helps in selecting the right resources for the examination. 

  • Keeping a hand on the best CMRUAT Resources:
    Candidates preparing for CMRUAT should have a proper idea of the resources that are needed for the examination. It can either be e-resources or offline resources. Moreover, candidates should be able to select credible resources for maximum results. It's not just only about the resources but also about the relatability and the understandability of the topics that are mentioned in them

  • Preparation of Notes:
    Candidates should always prepare notes of the topics that they are preparing. It would help them go about a quick revision process and prepare for the exam strategically. 

  • Following a strict preparation schedule for CMRUAT:

CMRUAT Admit Card:

Following are the steps to download the CMRUAT Admit Cards: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of CMR University. 
Step 2: Login using your User ID and Password for CMRUAT. 
Step 3: Click on the tab that reads, "CMRUAT Admit Card".  
Step 4: The CMRUAT Admit Card shall be displayed on the screen of the candidates. 
Step 5: Candidates should ensure that there are no errors on the CMRUAT Admit Card; hence, they should go through the details on the admit card properly. They should look for any kind of mistakes in the spelling of their personal details, details of the course, venue, date and timing, photograph, and signature. 
Step 6: If candidates don't find any mistakes, then they should take a printout of the admit card and store it until the admissions processes are over. 

If the candidates encounter any mistakes or see that any detail has been missed by the conducting body, such as exam venue or time, then they should report it to the concerned authorities. They shall make the necessary changes and update the new admit card within a week. 

At the CMRUAT Exam Centre, candidates will be allowed to enter only with their CMRUAT Admit Card and a government-approved Photo ID Card. 

CMRUAT Answer Key:

The CMR University shall release the CMRUAT Answer Key after 3 to 4 days of the examination. Candidates will be able to check the answer key and calculate their score for the exam. 

Below are the steps to check the CMRUAT Answer Key:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CMR University.
Step 2: Click on the tab that reads CMRUAT.
Step 3: Click on the tab that reads CMRUAT Answer Key. 
Step 4: The answer key will be available in PDF Format. 
Step 5: Candidates can check the CMRUAT Answer Key and calculate their respective marks. 

Candidates are also allowed to raise an objection against the answer key. They can challenge a question with considerable proof, and the experts can look into it. If the claim is valid, then the answer shall be changed. 

CMRUAT Results:

CMR University shall declare the results of CMRUAT after the final correction that can be made to the answer sheet released earlier. 

Below are the steps to check out the CMRUAT results:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CMR University. 
Step 2: Candidates need to click on the tab that reads, "CMRUAT Result."
Step 3: Enter your User ID and Password.
Step 4: Click on "Submit". 
Step 5: The CMRUAT Result shall be displayed on the screens of the candidate. 
Step 6: Candidates should take a printout of the scorecard and store it until the admissions processes are over. 

CMRUAT Scorecard forms an important document during the further admission process. It shall act as proof of the marks scored by the candidates in the CMRUAT Examination.  

Before downloading the CMRUAT Scorecard, candidates should check all the details mentioned in the scorecard. 

They should immediately report, within 24 hours, to the concerned authorities if they find any kind of mistakes and request the correct scorecard. 

CMRUAT Cut-off:

The qualifying status of the candidate shall be discussed with the CMRUAT cut-off. The cut-off marks are very important and are based on a couple of factors.

Below are the factors which determine the CMRUAT cut-off:

  • Total number of applicants for CMRUAT
  • The total number of candidates who appeared for CMRUAT.
  • The difficulty level of CMRUAT.
  • Availability of Seats
  • Marking scheme of that particular year's CMRUAT Examination.
  • Candidate's Performance

CMRUAT Counselling:

Counselling sessions shall be conducted for all the courses for which the exam is being conducted. 

CMRUAT counselling process shall be conducted on the campus of CMR University. It will be based on a number of factors. 

These factors are:

  • Marks scored by the candidate in CMRUAT Examination
  • The number of seats available in the preferred course.
  • CMRUAT cut-off for that particular course.

Candidates have to attend the CMRUAT Counselling process. In case of their unavailability for the process, their candidature shall be considered cancelled. 

In addition to this, candidates have to pay Rs. 600 as fees for the CMRUAT counselling process when they are allocated a seat. They shall also be informed of the vacant seats available via an official notification.

Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria which the candidates are expected to meet for CMRUAT. 

For Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech):

  • Candidates must have passed their 12th Standard Examination, in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Maths as compulsory subjects, from any of the recognized educational boards in India. 
  • Candidates pursuing their 12th standard from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) will also be eligible for the exam. 
  • A minimum mark of 50% is required in the 12th standard examination. 

For BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB:

  • Candidates must have passed their 12th Standard Examination, in the required field, from any of the recognized educational boards in India. 
  • Those pursuing the course from the National Institute of Open Schooling are also eligible for the application process. 
  • A minimum mark of 50% is required in the 12th standard examination. 

For LLM:

  • Candidates should have either done a 5-year Integrated LLB Program or 3 years of Undergraduate degree along with a 5-year LLB Program from any of the recognized universities in India. 
  • They should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their undergraduate courses. 

For MBA Program:

  • Candidates need to pursue an undergraduate degree, with a minimum duration of 3 years, from any of the recognized universities in India. 
  • Candidates need to score a minimum of 50% in their undergraduate courses. 
  • Those with work experience can also apply for the program.
