The Oxford College of Education

Founded by Childrens Education Society, The Oxford College of Education prepares the students to take up responsibilities and develop their personality and interpersonal skills. They are taught the art of effective teaching and given hands-on training. The college is located in a serene residential locality which provides a calm atmosphere that is best suited for ideal learning. Apart from English language lab, Audio-Visual lab, a well-stocked library, and well-equipped Psychology and Science laboratories, the college provides separate hostel accommodations for boys and girls located in close proximity to the college.   

The students seeking admission in this college should have passed B.A./ B. Sc. degree examination from a recognised university. He/She should have studied either Kannada, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Marathi or Sanskrit. The student will have to choose two electives from the following subjects: History, Political Science, Sociology, Geography, Economics, Philosophy, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Mathematics, Kannada, English, Hindi, Urdu, Marathi, Sanskrit, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Electronics, Statistics. The Oxford College of Education aims in producing students achieving university ranks and excellent academic results since the inception of the Institution.
