St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences (SJNAHS) is a self-financed private Institution. It was established in 1963 by the CBCI to commit to serving the poor. It was dedicated to the 38th International Eucharistic Congress held in Bombay during 1964.
St. John's was named after St. John the Baptist, who was an ardent supporter of the initiative.
The institution strives to train and encourage health care professionals to reach out to medically distressed people. They have continually shown a commitment to social justice in health care.
St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences (SJNAHS) - Allied Health department is accredited by two organisations: the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
